Default Drivers side brake hose problem

Hi, I am new to this forum. Anyways, I own a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500, and I am replacing all the brake system parts. My question is that on the drivers side brake hose, where it terminates to the steel line, there is the another line that goes to the passenger side, that is also connected there. Well, on the new hose there isn't a place for the other line to connect to, like on the old hose. As you can see in the pictures. What should I do. Did I get the wrong hose? The guy at autozone said it was the right one.

Thanks

BTW this is a cool forum!
