I need to add that four of the bolts are a pita to get in, and you need a thin walled 7/16 box end wrench,long and short to make life easier.

 

Did you install shorties or long headers?

I remember reading that somewhere now that you mention it. So much for using a torque wrench... but WTF, if they don't leak after five years something's gone right.

Oh yeah, that reminds me of the question I've always had when looking at pictures of the Gibsons: How difficult is it to get at the spark plugs?

My local dealer wanted $72.00 and could not find the tensioner. I ordered from http://www.mopartsracing.com/parts/ram.html and paid $58.00 today, and ordered tensioner as well.

5 & 7 are the worst to get to due to the brake booster, the rest are easy as pie to change out. Pic makes them look bad, but are in very good shape.

 

When it comes to ordering Mopar Performance parts it's best that you give them(dealer) all the part numbers you need. If they can't find those parts or match the web prices it's time to find a diff dealer. My CDN dealer matches the prices from that U.S web site. It might also help if you say you are part of a Mopar Club to get a discount.

 

Well i replaced my timing chain and gears with the brand you get in advanced auto parts i forgot the name but it was only $40. It was just a single roller tho i dont care about double. The engine stock used a single roller and the chain when i replaced it at 123k was only stretched a little.

I did notice a power increase with the new one..

As for as mileage and ower for double roller i heared a double actually lowers gas mileage
