1997 dodge ram will not start
I have a 1997 Ram 1500 5.2L that ran well. Left it parked for several months and could not get it to start. Eventually changed out the fuel pump assembly and it started. One month later tried to start again and will not start. Can use starter fluid and runs a few seconds. Help.

You need to get a gauge and verify fuel pressure. Which I don't think is so easy on a 97. Because you probably have a plastic fuel rail with no test port. You have to buy or make up a tee. And for the hell of it, try unscrewing the pre cat o2 sensor from the pipe and see if it runs.
