why do you not want to get a 240v welder. It not hard to get 240v anywhere there is power.

 

I posted a repair job I did on my 94 dakota using "Durabond" tape over galvanized sheet metal from a hard ware store pop riveted to my left rear fender.I believe it will never leak before the truck falls apart.Google search "Durabond Tape" I used it to seal the roof on a motor home,I also found the mud flap was causing the inner fender to rust faster than had I not had a flap on that side as the right side was missing when I bought it and never has rusted.
