Default Rough idle with clicking?

I have a 2001 1500 with the 5.9 all stock. 90% of the time it runs great the other 10% the egine wont idle at all. the rpms drop down to 400 or less and the engine wants to stall but there is this clicking noise like a sensor. the engine has never actually stalled cause i can keep it running by pumping the gas. it seems like the clicking noise is a result of the rough idle not the other way around. no idea what it could be truck has 124k on it. any help?

Try this and see if any codes come up, https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...code-list.html

Also remove the TB and clean it and the IAC on back of it, https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-r...n-the-iac.html

And read this thread, https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...um-thread.html

Try swapping the ASD relay, and the horn relay. (they are in the PDC, right behind the battery.)
