Picked up 3 cans of Duplicolor Black Spray On Bedliner and some 180grit sand paper. And some Duplicolor Rustfix.

Did my rockers and trim, going to do the bed rails next!

Excuse the rust you see on the front and rear fenders.

I am getting 2 new front fenders soon and im going to bondo the rear fender.

At first, I thought you guys spraying bedliner on the lower quarters were weird. I'm now rethinking that and might do it to my truck.

That looks good. I don't have rust problems on the body for some reason(just every where else)LOL . Keep us posted as to it's durability.

My 98 was rusted like that on the body. Good call getting new front fenders. The doors are another issue. However you decide to fix them, once you fix them. Take the interior panel off once a year and vacuum out the dirt, make sure the drain holes are clear, and pour a little used oil from your last oil change down into the crease at the bottom. The drain holes get clogged. And along with the bad design, they(the holes) are higher than the crease. So when they get clogged, water just sits in the lower part of the seam and rots the door from inside out.

 

I like the way that looks. A friend of mine has a 99 1500 that he took and had the whole truck rhino lined!!!!!! I didnt like the way it looked at first but it kinda grew on me after a while. This is up there on the list of things id like to do.

 

My cousin just did that to his looks sweet !

 

I like that idea as well. Might give it a try if it holds up.

 

Ahhhh, i need to do that. I now live in a more unforgovong area. My truck was a Cali Coast truck and then we moved to Arkansas. Now we are in Indiana, and on our way to upstate NY. So, I will need to do this.

I got the Ziebart "works" package, but i think i will need to do what you said.
