Default How much limited slip additive is needed?

I would like to service the rear axle on my Ram this weekend. Dana 60 with a factory LSD. How much additive will I need for this unit? I know I need about five or six quarts of gear oil.

Fluid capacity is 7 pints...... Doesn't specify amount of friction modifies for the 4x4... 4x2 gets .25 pints.... but, it only has a capacity of 6.3 pints of fluid..... So, somewhere between .25, and .35 pints I should think. (capacities are listed as totals. They include the amount of friction modifier as well.)

You could just buy the gear lube that has it added into it already.

If you are starting with an empty housing... fill it to the bottom of the hole, drive it a little bit, then CHECK IT AGAIN. (yeah, I HATE rebuilding differentials twice.......)

According to the manual and the thread in the FAQ/DIY section . It should not be filled up to the hole. Not that it probably matters much anyway. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...uid-types.html
