sorry bout the crappy pics but i did this at night and im not gonna tear it back apart in the am to take better pics. and i only used zip ties to get me by until i coud fab some brakets up.

 

Isn't the fan supposed to go on the other side of the radiator? Fans work better if they pull air not push air right?

Naw its not an ebay fan, it came form dodgeparts.com. its an oem 2001 jeep grand cherokee fan and this one does a prety good job of cooling things down

 

Does it draw less amps than a Taurus fan?

 

I dont know for sure what kinda amps a tarus fan pulls, but mine only needs a 25 amp fuse, and i use a 30 amp relay

 

Also my temps have been pretty steady since i installed the fan

 

Puller is usually better then a pusher. If you can mount it inside the bay to pull through the radiator, I'd go that route. It has to do with the radiator resisting the flow after the air had been accelerated by the fan that causes a bit of a bottle neck, plus the ram air effect when driving forward isn't hampered by a puller, it actually complements it.

There's also less exposure to driving rain inside the engine bay on the fan motor and wiring.

 

Where mine sit iits pretty protected. And it pulls thru the condenser and pushees thru the radiator

 

Ouch, I don't know how that will cool your beast in the summer months in the DEEP SOUTH. You will have VERY cold AC though!!.

I don't think that fan was made to be a pusher.
