let me know if it fits. For 70 bucks it is worth an experiment (especially since direct fits run 300-600 for our trucks).

If the dimensions are the same as the radiator, then it will work. If it does not cover the whole radiator, then you might have issues.

I had a Grand Cherokee, I don't remember the shroud being that big. BUT, you might be able to "improve" the shroud so that it pulls air through the total area of the radiator.

the fan is a 19 inch fan and im thinking about using our trucks stock shroud and making a mont bracket to hold it in place since the shroud opening is 22" iirc and the usw weather stripping or something to make it seal

Ah, I thought it was a dual setup. THe only single fan that can turn enough CFM for our trucks would be This fan: $269.99

3300 CFM. What is the rating for the 70 dollar one?

I am. Fan sits about an inch off the rad, no shroud, keeps coolant temps between 180-190º on 95º days sitting in traffic with the AC on. Great fan.

Ford Taurus fan is about 4500 cfm and Lincoln Mark VIII fan is 5000 cfm. You can pick them up from the junkyard or ebay for usually $50 or less . I'll get around to doing that eventually .

Actually, most of the part numbers I have found around the net state that the Ford Taurus fan and the Mark VIII fan are the same part numbers, and therefore the same fans. There are conflicting reports of whether they blow as "low" as 4500 CFM, or as high as 5500 CFM.

Here's the killer.

They draw around 33A while running, and when cold over 100A to start up! No thank you. My setup (and others that use good branded aftermarket units) may cost more, but use much safer amperage.
