Default Blend door motor is shot, where to get a new one

Well I took my motor for my blend door off to install the Heater treater. Well I found out my motor is completely rusted and I can't even spin it and that plastic piece I spent 30 bucks on to replace is fine, oh well. Where do I find a replacement for this? Would the local junkyard be the cheapest and best option? I found one online for $130 but that's ridiculous ESP since it was used. Idk how it rusted so bad

I would check JY before I spent $130. May have to check 2 or 3 to make sure you gen one better than what you are replacing.

Sell the Heater Treater on here in the classified section or keep it in case it does go bad. As far as finding the motor cheaper, as said try the JY. Or Google for the numerous sites that sell MOPAR parts. You may find one cheaper than going to the dealer.

I just put the metal piece on their anyways. I could sell the plastic piece if anyone wants it I'll check jy. What concerns me though is there is a lot of rust on the motor and even the top of that plastic piece heater treater replaces. Could the heater core be leaking through the blend door? is that possible? I'm confused on where this water is coming from but who knows, this truck could have been submerged by a previous owner and they just didnt replace that because we live in florida. Thanks for the help!

I suppose heater core, AC drip hole clogged, truck sat for a while, or just plain old time and or condensation.

thanks for the link! but i have to go to a junkyard anyways because Im trying to convert to a manual transmission, and there's no point paying for a used one online if i can just rip it out of a used car lol. I went on thursday but there were only 3 01 dodge rams
