okkay. i got a 4x4 5.9l, stock height if not body lift, but anyways sometimes when i hit bumps or dips it makes like a loud clunk or tick like its bottoming out but its not. same with the back< bad shocks? or does thta cross bar or stabilizer bar thing(sorry never seen one on a solid axle) joint bad? heard its another fault in dodges..
im thinking its the bushing now that you bring it up because itll turn right easy but when you turn left it feels as the steering column is rubbing somewhere it aint hard but you can feel it like if bearings were out... i een something that rplaces it and fixes it for good they claim. its a new bushing but seems a lil pricy for it and plus it has to be ordered just for a piece o ruber
yeah i know im gonna check the steering column first then go from there.... and yeah i know thats why i dont wanna buy it when the plastic or rubber cost them about less the 10, then probably 5 to mold it... im sure theres some type of bushing that will help me besides that and tats cheeper...
i had a kinda similar issue on my one dodge, and it was a bolt working it way loose, tighend it back up and didnt have an issue.try that. its hard to say with out accually hearing it.
