And thats why Craigslist is the shiZ! With the setup i have i dont rub at all even at full lock in moderate situations. I would love to see the sliders whenever u get them built. I havent seen any that i like to even give me an idea of what i want
The sliders will be KISS method. 2x4x0.180 tube. For us QCabbiezzz, use 3 mount locations straight out from the frame. Here is a direct example of a regular cabbie (my buddies rig).
He has 2 mount locations of the bar coming straight out. Then the slider is 45° from vertical. They work perfect. One piece. No bending. Just straight....and take a beating like no other. My **** has felt it.
I really do like the simple method with suare tubing! Easy but why not cap off the ends? JW. Does he have 3/4 ton axles on a 1/2 ton?
I asked him about capping and he just wasn't planning on it as it's a non-issue. I can see leaving open to keep inside dry. Capping would really be a cosmetic thing I guess.
Yes, those are d60s....swapped in. Also a nv3500 manual like yourself.

Yeah....that's what I said. It is a 1500 with just some 2500 stuff swapped in, including the badge.
Do u know if the Dana 60s were just a direct bolt on or any extra fab? That is my my mod, if only I could find some reasonably priced! And i like the high heels pic

From what I understand, D60s from another Dodge are complete bolt up swaps to a 1500. This based on my research here and on 4x4 dedicated sites. I think the best avenue is finding a salvaged truck, followed by someone selling a set.
