Page six of Monte's thread. You don't need all of it, but, upgrading some of the hard parts, and the other tweaks would be a good plan.

Thanks. I'm going to bring that list with me to the trans shop in town and see what they think of it. I did ask if they would do beefier trans upgrades and not just stock rebuilds and they said they would. Build it right the first time I guess. I dont tow much or often but I go off road a good amount and I still pull my atv around.

Update: Trans had 13 bad clutch plates, bad servo piston, gov pressure solenoid and sensor, and bad torque converter. Got a little better than stock rebuild with a Sonnax Sure Cure Kit added. Should be ready to drive end of day today. Wallet damage TBD...
