I want to thank each and every one of you for the words of comfort and for the extremely generous donations. It's still very difficult to type and compose my thoughts.

Second Chance Animal Sanctuary does not have a memorial page set up just yet. We were overwhelmed with all of the funeral preparations last week and did not have time to co-ordinate sending them pictures and a brief note they'll put on their web page. Gabriel (Gabby) loved animals and we always made it a point to donate to assist the "orphaned puppies and kitties" as we told people.

We learned that the church burned a video of the services. I will post the link once it is hosted.

Again, on behalf of my family and his mother's family, we thank you for your comfort and support. You guys are awesome.

I'm pretty sure I speak for many here when I say:

It's the least we could do.

I hope you you find somewhere to find peace.

Gary, welcome back. We're all pulling for you, and I guess this thread shows how we all feel.

Seems to me that you're the "George Bailey" of this forum; "The richest man in town", because of all the good friends he has who care about him.

It's really cool to see that check to the Second Chance Animal Sanctuary that was so near and dear to Gabby; just one of the many ways that he lives on.

As I said in my PM to you, it's very apparent from all I read what a fine, fine young man your son was, and that speaks volumes about you, too. Seems like you were both very lucky to have each other in your lives.

Again, welcome back; it sure is good to see you on here again - things just haven't been the same without you. (Well, except for Z giving everyone a hard time, that is.)

Best wishes always to you and your family, John D
