Default Traction

So I just bought a 97 4x2 laramie and im having a problem with the back end getting away from me. Its pretty fun right now but this is Ohio and come winter, it could be dangerous. I dont have any weight in the bed but I could throw some back there and change the tires? They dont look too bad but Im not sure what else will make me stick to the road better.

Some folks like sand bags or "tube sand", which is just an expensive sand bag. I'm going to give one of these a whirl this winter, myself.

Try a little less skinny pedal!!! haha jk. just throw some sandbags back there and make sure you have a decent set of tires and you shouldnt have any problem come winter time

add about 500-800 pounds of firewood and see if that helps.

The truck is new. You will learn how to keep your foot out of the throttle while in a turn.

^this right there!

I still have mine. Loved it for the 4 or so winters I used when in Littleton. Best part is....you can still use your bed and put crap on it. No more sliding around cheap sand!! lol FWIW, its also the safest alternative.

My cheapest way prior to the water bag was cinder blocks that were tied up near the tailgate. Kept them in place but was SOB to use the bed.

Last option...when it does snow, it does snow in OH where you are? Shovel that shiz in the bed!

Ok, I havent seen one of those before.

You guys dont think it has anything to do with my springs or shocks back there do you? They like to creak real loud in the back right well.

How much air pressure are you putting in the tires?
