315/70/16 with leveling kit???

Default 315/70/16 with leveling kit???

I know a guy who has a nice set of 315 70 16 that he will trade for my 265 75 16 .Im running stock rims will I clear these?I dont off road.Ill be putting on my 2.5 leveling kit this week

shouldnt be a problem.. i can just about clear 35x12.50/20 with no lift. a leveling kit for me would probably be good

Will that tire fit the stock rim? You need a 8" wide rim for that tire.

yea it should. i dont see why it wouldnt. i had 305-70-16 before and they were fine

How wide are your stock rims 7" I think, If so no go for a fit. This is just a guild for tire to rim fitting.

With 33s or 35s do I need to change gears?Also my partner said he has two sets of 35s with avout 45-59 percent tread I can have for 200 for all.Thought about getting em till I buy a new set@income tax time.Broke my windshield today too

Any idea what you have for gears? you can look under the hood for a spec sticker for that info or get a build sheet for your truck. Chances are you have 3.55 gears, so the bigger the tire the harder it is to turn, harder on trany, motor and gas and slower out of the hole. Most here recommend 4.56 with a 35 tire. How bad are your current tires? I am not one for buying used tires but thats me. Sucks about your window, I go through 3 every winter not cheap.

I got brand new 265/70/16 just thought about grabbing his used paird to see how they looked,Im starting to think Im just go go 33s
