im putting new wheels on my truck on saturday, i have a potential buyer lined up for the old ones, but he wants to know if the will fit on his stock 2 wheel drive im not sure what the backspacing is but my wheels stick out about 1 1/2 inches out of the wheel well. i dont remember the exact year but it is a second gen. i think he plans on running a close to stock tire size.
can anyone help me out? thanks in advance.
well mine has a a 2 inch leveling kit and 33's like i said his is stock and i dont know why the bolt pattern would be different same truck same gen just not 4x4 like mine.
As long as they are lug cetric wheels, they are fine. Our second gens are lug centric and MOST after market wheels are as well...as far as tire size, he might wanna run a 265/75/15...
I've got 33 12.50's on 15x10's with no problems. Mine is a 98 2wd with leveling kit. Your friend is going to need some wider tires than stock width with a 10' rim. The smallest size I think recommended is a 11.50 width tire- which is usually a 32' tall tire.
