Just bought a SCT tuner, how do I put custom tuner files on it?
Um.
Well, lets see here...
Step 1, plug tuner into OBD2 port under dash
Step 2, watch awesomeness
Step 3, select a tune. Start with the 87 tune and work your way up as you put higher octane gas in it
Step 4, watch your gas mileage plummet because your right foot has become magically heavier since adding your new-found-awesomeness.

180* thermostat LOL... just wanting to add some power, I plan to add mods as I go... But the tuner needs to have files loaded to it to load to my truck
Where did you get the tuner from? Didn't it come with tunes??? If it didn't, first ya gotta have a tune to put in there.... You can get 'em from Hemifever, he can just email them to you. You should be able to upload them from your computer via USB cable, or some such.
Yea it's blank, I got it brand new for a good price that I couldn't pass up on, just wondering where to download the files to put on it

I guess it's prolly true since I'm not really a n00b.
Thanks for reminding me of my problems, ya ***!
