Say I just bought the lmc truck rubber carpet and when it came to my door I never opened the box thinking it was molded and everything for my truck. I went to install it today and here to find out its just a flat piece of carpet that I have to fold and cut and what not did I get screwed or am I just thinking wrong?

To the OP, if it said molded in the ad, it should be molded. Maybe it just appears flat because its been rolled up in the box? I did order some "molded" carpet from JC Whitney once that was just a flat square of carpet. No molding, no holes, nothing. I sent it back.

Totally off topic, but why did you junk it? Was it wrecked, rusted to heck, or something? Just curious.

I have yet to do this myself, so all I can offer on this is from what I have read.
-It may not be a direct fit some trimming may be required.
-As with any work you do, take your time and do it right.
-READ the directions first!
-If it doesnt live up to your expectations, send it back.
I plan on replacing my carpet with a rubber mat eventually. So I've been reading around about it for a while. Maybe something with a diamond plate pattern.

Heat it up a little before you put it in. I've owned 3 Jeeps, had to buy 3 replacement canvas tops for them. I learned they go on a lot easier if you leave them out in the sun, next to the fireplace, etc and can warm them up and make them more pliable. I put a rubber mat in one jeep, warming it up a little helped.
