2000 1500 Sport upgrades?
Hi, I'm pretty new to owning trucks, and got tired of my older car, and purchased a used obviously 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport with a 5.9L in it. Im just kind of curious on what kind of upgrades, such as to give it more power and all, you can do do these trucks, and where can you find the parts to order them from?

First thing is: Fix the broke stuff. If the plenum hasn't been addressed yet, then you will need to. (stickied thread at top of this forum will tell ya more than you ever wanted to know about that particular issue. 
)
If the engine is high mileage, replacing the timing chain and gears with a good double roller set will help as well.
Distributor cap, rotor, wires, and plugs....
Is the cat getting clogged?
New O2 sensors. (Denso, or NTK, avoid bosch.)
What emissions laws are in place where you are?
