Default Loose Window

Heya;

Just bought an '01 RAM (Pictures to follow later), and I'm doing some work to it. I noticed that the windows on both doors are loose. My question is, in regards to RAMs in general, are there ways to adjust the windows in the panel or is this a sign that a part in the vehicle is failing? First time working on the truck, (doing shocks, sway bar links and tune up) so I was wondering if they are able to adjust, since i'd like to take the door apart as few times as possible.

TY in advance for any help (I looked around the forums and didn't see any posts on the topic, so figured it can't hurt to ask).

The glass is actually glued into a couple metal brackets, that the lift mechanism operates on. Those are famous for letting loose, and then the window has the opportunity to come out of them. It will still work just fine, but, it will rattle to beat the band, among other undesirable behaviors. I think I read somewhere that there is some variety of glue you can use to stick 'em back in place, (and that is something I need to do before winter sets in.....) but, I don't recall what flavor of glue was recommended.

If it is rattling in the guides at the front/back, I think your only choice there is to replace them.
