Well my 96 Ram 1500's chrome grill has bubbles in it, is it possible to fix this, or should I just get a new grill?
You can probably make it look a lot better than it does now. That's just a spray-on chrome finish, unless there's a way to electroplate plastic that I don't know about.
That said, not all spray chrome is created equal. I've looked into it, and the best stuff is insanely expensive and/or requires special equipment, but you can also get a can of Rustoleum chrome-colored paint for $4.99 that would probably look better than what you've got. Just sand the bubbles smooth and shoot it. (Well, or Krylon): http://www.krylon.com/products/premium_metallic/
I find that the factory chrome grill on my truck is the only bling i can stand, and have not yet seen an aftermarket one that looks better then stock. I will eventually either re-chrome (mine has wrinkles) or replace with stock. Unless I don't.
