Default '99 1500 Ram Van Question

Will stock 16" wheels and 245/75/16 tires fit on a 1999 1500 Ram Van? I've got a buyer for my stock wheels but he's in Tallahassee,Fl, he'll be going to Atlanta tomorrow and I'd like to know if they'll work before we setup a meet.

He's got the 5X5.5 bolt pattern.

Thanks

The 245s will be about 1 1/2 in taller than the original and 1/2 in wider is all, so I would imagine they'd fit just fine.

Well to answer my question NO, they don't fit, at least on his Ram Van. The center hole on the 15" wheels on the ram van is about 1/4" of an inch wider then my stock 16". My wheel fits but the back of the hub on the van is lipped up about 1/4" give or take, so I can't even get a lug nut started.

Well that's stupid. Who needs standardization, right? Course, dodge is the only one still using the 8x6.5 bolt pattern for HD's anymore, and ford even used a 7 lug at one point... what is this world coming to?

Well got another buyer for the set, he's got a 1999 Dodge Truck, he didn't specify if it was a Ram or Dakota.
