just ordered my plenum kit and a few misc odds and ends tonight

Default just ordered my plenum kit and a few misc odds and ends tonight

hey i just got done ordering a few things
hug7720 plenum repair kit
hug7700 magnum intake bolt kit
hug1839180 degree thermostat
hug23139 oxygen sensor

grand total 208.71 with shipping

once it get heres in about 4-5 days i'm gonna put it on my truck

is there any other things i should consider doing while i'm installing these items?

i did my cap and rotor wires and plugs about 6 months ago so i'm gonna hold off on them for now unless you guess think i need to re do them.

i just used mid grade stuff when i did the plugs and etc

timing chain? i heard they wear out about 160k miles i'm rolling at 162k too..

i totally forgot about that do they install pretty straight forward or?

Water pump since you take it off why not replace it now. Bypass hose, catalytic converter, I would change the plugs again because it has been burning oil.

As for the timing chain, see about getting a double roller set. Like the one below. And make sure that when you put the gears back on, you line them up correctly.

Don't forget to pick up all of your gaskets. Timing cover, exhaust manifolds, etc.

no i didn't ordering a programmer. i don't see why i'd need one right now.

as far as water pump goes and t chain. I'm gonna hold off on them after winter i'm gonna put a performance towing cam in from comp cams. and when i do that i'll replace the water pump and timing chain.

im guessing your live in canada aye? from jegs racing to my house is 9.99 i live here in the good ol usa

Yeah I live in Canada. It was $19.99 for shipping. Better than Summit. They wanted over $40 for shipping.
