My 3' firestik is mounted to my driver side front fender.
I think it looks pretty cool almost like I have twin whips because the factory am/fm antenna is on the passenger side at about the same spot.

i have a 102" on a ball mount...mounted on the passanger side of my topper so i can go through drive thoughs and not hit lol.... with the ball mount i have it tilted back on a 45 angle instead of tying it down. works well
