lifting my 2wd
Obvious he had none. But as to reasons to lift a 2wd.... (technically it IS 2wd, you just have to see)

Always a need for pavement queens!!!!
I would love to know what you tried to spell out but it was asteric'd out. Even though I have a REALLY good idea of what you typed. Maybe an admin should send this ignorant poster a pm?
Also before you make such prejudice posts give this a read.

true, yet some of us do it for other reasons. such as clearance (being my case). i live out in the middle of the woods basically and have nothing but dirt roads which never get leveled. with the truck at the height it is now i have very little room to work with. so the with a 5-6 inch lift there will never be a second thought as to what lies in the roads as obstacles haha. which leads into the last problem ive yet to hit, rear locker. but thats another story...
and i feel like somebody is gonna say "you live on backroads but your sig is in a good neighborhood??" thats my in-laws.

Wow. Your awesome. I like how you post stuff without even broadening your understanding of why lifting a two wheel drive is practical. It takes a ***got to believe that people who live off if public roads ALWAYS drive 4X4s. We don't. But the extra clearance doesn't hurt either. Us with lifted two wheel drives obviously think more practical than you and don't follow the "crowd" and make use of what we have and take into consideration what we need to overcome the tasks were introduced with. ***got.
I don't see the problem lifting a 2wd RAM, (granted not as high as the link Wh1t3NuKle posted
), I'd be curious to see how this works out for you 97_ram1500. I think once I get all the kinks out of my wife's RAM, thats what we're going to do to it (probably 2" only).

And lifting a 4x4 is so much better, theres really no difference as long as you make the truck to do the job at hand.
I go places with my truck that at stock height and tires it wouldnt have made it, do I need the extra 500 pounds of weight and deal with the extra parts involved in a 4x4....nope and I dont need to go through deep mud to get where I need to go.
There are some people that actually need 4x4 but most dont, a decent set of hands and some brains and you can get through alot in a 2wd. Other than going out mudding and peace of mind I see no reason for having 4x4.

Im in for 6 days
Edit: My truck is a 4x4 but i have no front driveshaft so that makes it a 2wd truck. Im in the process of putting in 2500 coils and rear blocks and new shocks. Thats gonna be lifting my truck.. Does this make me a ***got? Luckily for you its really easy to talk smack on somebody over the internet. But if the opportunity presented itself I highly doubt you could get away with calling somebody that to their face. I hope you do get banned from here cause there is plenty of reasons to lift a 4x4 and 4x2 pickup. You are just one of the ignorant ****** that needs set straight. So if you have nothing positive to say towards the OP then you dont deserve to be posting in this thread, or even be on this site. Take the negative comments elsewhere cause they arent needed here.
