How much are you planning to lift the suspension? I'm thinkin that 3" is the most you can get before you have to start replacing front suspension parts, unless of course you've already accounted for that.

And I've looked myself at body lifts and seem to have a hard time finding ones that aren't only for the "Sport" model.

Personally, I think you're going in the wrong direction for a 2wd.

I was thinking the same thing. I do not see any benefit to lifting this truck. My 4x4 Toyota has 35's but do not see any benefit to lifting 2wd Ram.

Lifting a 2WD is just as practical as lifting a 4X4. You don't have to have a front differential to need clearance. I see it just as useful to avoid my crossmember dragging the ground.

As for the lift, 2.5" is the highest you can go without new upper control arms. Your going the right direction though with the spindles. Keep in mind that they do widen your front stance a few inches. As for the body lift, im not a fan of them, and I don't know if your an auto, but 2" body lifts are only for manual transmissions if I remember correctly. 3" is the lowest for autos. If it were me, I would go with the spindles, then add a 2" spacer and you wouldn't have to worry about the body lift, and gain the added 2" in clearance...

I have a 97 1500 2wd and it has a 2 inch level with a 3 inch body lift, and I would probably be able to squeeze some 35s on it but i would probably have to have some minor trimming of the wheel wells, but you cant know for sure unless you mount the tires and see. But I am putting 33s on it and that seems like it would be just right for my 5 inch lift.

Im running 33s on 2.5"-3" lift no rubbing, no trimming

Hmm I was wondering if a 3 inch would fit 33's, is it a pretty tight fit?

Nah. Not bad at all. But I have BFG ATs so some tires might be different. But I never had any rubbing issues, and they fill the fender wells nicely. Not to much, but don't look too small

I'm running WIDE 32's and theres plenty of room. My tire guy wanted to go with thinner 35s but I want to get gears before I go any taller.
