yeah so I was looking at this and theres no mounting holes for the fuel rail so that would have to be customized somehow. Also what other mounting holes do I need egr map sensor intake temp sensor? Any of these hole missing that you notice on this intake?

if you have a 98 you should not have egr on your motor, map sersor bolts to your tb. the intake temp sensor and coolant temp snsor are the only ones that mount to the kegger iirc

No, the EGR was discontinued starting in 1997.

FWIW - I think the OP should either modify his Kegger and upgrade it with the superior replacement gasket and plate rather than taking a chance on a questionable intake.

Do some searching on this site. this exact ebay product has been discussed. I know this because I thought about it and found info when I did my plenum fix 6 mo ago.

In the original thread people posted up saying the AC won't clear and a few other minor issues.

I actually thoght this was a revival of the old threat until I saw the dates on it!

With out seeing it in person I can't be 100% sure but it looks to be an Edelbrock air gap manifold. If the number on the casting is 7797, it should work.

I have one of the old LA air gap manifolds currently on my truck. The injector bosses were tapped and welded onto it. Had to buy a special riser and fuel rail mount for it from Hughesengines, which cost an arm and a leg.

Hughes came put with the cast air gap for a magnum engine about 6 months later. I couldn't wait though, the stock intake manifold on my particular truck had cracked due to a bad casting.

So I had to sign up for classes yesterday at school and my financial aid doesnt cover enough so here comes a $1000 out of my pocket just for classes and books. So definatley not going to be buying this and tinkering with it. I really would of liked to but I guess Ill just have to do the kegger mod and seeing as how I bought an aluminum plenum plate from someone on here (dont remember who) Ill just go that route. Maybe some HS rr's in the future and headers that sounds good enough to me. Although I don't know if I'll be able to do headers thoose bolts for the manifolds are pretty rusted.
