my dash cap experience

Ya, cover lay doesn't have access holes to the screws. But warm it up and I'm sure the silicone will pull up easily.

Mine looks blueish in certain light.. Anyways here's a couple finished pics.





Think if I were to do it again I'd go with black.... I may strip the paint if i don't like it in a few months.

I had to cute and paste the image link to view them but, looks good. You can tell a little bit of a blueish tint.. But it still looks good.

I bought mine from http://sandkindustries.com/DASH.html but have not installed it yet. Comes in black and I need to paint it first. Was getting ready to paint it, weather turned cool. I went with replacement instead of cap as I have more dash missing than is left there.

this dash problem is more common among the 98 and newer isnt it? because i got a 97 my dad 96, and my buddies have a 96, 95, and a 94 and none of them are cracked. ive gone through a couple threads about these dashes and it seems like there are more 98 and up having this problem.....

I think 98-01 seem to have the prob the most. It's the ones that the plastic parts were built in Mexico using inferior plastics.

Dash, cup holder, glove box, and the piece on the seat the belt comes out of..
