The one that has the pto label on it stands for power take off ... idk how to activate it or anything personally but the trucks we use that pto wire to energized a relay for an electric hydraulic pump ... and the harness on the passenger wheel well I was told by a stealership that ut was for something for the front axle for a light activation thing in which my truck is only 2wd so its just a standard wiring harness

The wire yellow wire under the dash is a jumper wire that is used on an automatic truck. On a manual truck there will be a netural safety switch in it's place.

I have a very simple DIY engine kill switch writeup on some other forums using that yellow wire. I'll post it up in the DIY section here and maybe someone can use the info.

I have the very same plug on my 97 5.2L Dakota; however its under/behind the master cylinder but is the same exact plug not hooked up to anything.

Just throwing it out there.

Yeah the master cylinder is just a little farther back. Its the angle of the pic but yours sounds like its in the same spot as mine

The white plug on the pass side? I always thought that was the Air filter monitor for a diesel equipped truck. It's right by where the filter would mount....thats what those dimples under the air filter duct tube are for.
