YES.
They are SUPPOSED to be serviced every 30k. Service including, fluid, filter, band adjustment. When I had mine serviced it made world of difference. Yours is only 35k old, so yours shouldn't be bad, but still, do it anyway.

If it aint broke, don't fix it. If it's shifting fine and working fine leave it.

Got the FSM?
It's in there.
The rear band adjustment is in the pan, front band adjustment is on the trans case.

Depends. You could open it up and service it and have no problems again for 30k miles. You could open it up and service it and have problems til you replace it.

Hopefully your local dealer is better then mine. I asked them about a band adjustment, and was told it wasn't necessary. The service manager said they hadn't done a band adjustment in over ten years. I told him I had read in the service manual that it is a recommended service every 30,000, and was told these newer transmissions didn't need it.

Goes against everything I have read on here and in the manual. I think I will find a different dealer if I need anything major (or do it myself if able).

Bands are suppose to be adjusted every 100k.
