If the output shaft snap ring comes off, it will allow the mainshaft to walk forward and the front output collar (4wd) will engage.

I don't think that's it. The CAD works fine really. If I pull the outboard hose and put it on the inboard port it stays in and worksfine fine it just wont shift itself. Changed the vacuum switch. I think it may be the linkage. Does anybody know how yo properly

I found it in the FSM. Ill try it tomorrow and hope that's the problem.
