Default 3rd Gen Taillights on a 2nd Gen?

.
I haven't measured them out, or tried to fit one, but it would be great if the tail lights from a 3rd gen Ram would fit on my 2nd gen. I really dis-like the look of the current ones. The new Ram ones look sweet! Just wondering if someone already looked into this.

Sure wish someone would design look-a-likes in our 2nd Gen size. I sure like the look of a smooth lens versus our bumpy ones. Wonder if any auto lighting companies take suggestions?

ive tried emailing auto aftermarket manufactureres with my ideas with better stuff... but they never respond... like i emailed hypertech and told them that the programers should be able to adjust the operating temps of engines... heard nothing back...done it a few other times too...then ithought to myself... what the hell i should start ineventing stuff and market it to you guys!!!

the guy on pavementsucks.com that converted his 1500 gasser into a 2500 CTD is currently fabbing in some 3gen headlights... cant wait to see what the look like... when me and the old lady buy a house and get my own garage im gonna start getting really into fabbing body work like that... thats the ultimate challange .. for me atleast.. custom body work and working metal

i was looking at those projector headlights but those are wayyyy to much. so im just going to either invest in clear headlights/turn signals or just black them out
