cylinder miss

Default cylinder miss

so im having issues with my truck 00 ram 5.9 gas, last night it ran fine, started it up had a bad miss, then it ran a p0302 cylinder miss fire, pulled the plug, fine..no oil no gas smell, didnt see any cracks on the procilan(sp) cleared code and then later pulled a p0202 injector circiut...did some reading, bought a new one...same thing still has a miss from hell...just changed the plugs wires etc a few weeks ago....replaced the tps last week.... anyway its still missing....just bought the truck a few weeks ago, i looked to see of any oil pooling in the plenum didnt see any...spray the inj o ring and intake man to see if i had a vaccuum leak.. nothing...so all in all im stumped..any suggestions were i should start next?

Default cylinder miss

Do a good compression test. Pay special attention to the #8 cylinder, (passenger side rear) I have had 2 5.9l gas engines suffer a head crack in that same cylinder and the same place, in between the valves.

Also make sure the plug wires are routed correctly per the TSB in the DIY/FAQ section of the forum.

Did you remove the TB to check for oil pooling?
