Steering murmurs while running straight, growls when turning left?

After about 5 hours of pounding my brains out I think I discovered a technique. If you grind the heads of the rivets off and then drill a 3/8" hole in the middle most of the way through, then take a 3/8" punch and drive through it, the rivets come out much easier!!
