Is it my tranny??????grrrrr
A few days ago going up a step hill in my truck my truck kinda jerked me forward very hard and fast like a tranny slip.It only did it once for a split second and was fine after that and never did it again since.Also I notice for the past month at 20mph to 30mph if i let my foot off the gas then step on the gas again I hear a clunk sound.what do you think that is?hope my tranny isn't going cant afford a rebuild my truck has low miles for the year for a 2000 94k.I checked the tranny fluid its fine I had it changed a few weeks ago.

Have a look around for driveline slop. (ujoints and such) Also, make sure the snap ring on the output shaft of the transfer case hasn't abandoned shaft. (pull rear driveshaft, pull extension housing off t-case, should be right that by the bearing.)
