i have access to a 5.9 motor that came out of a 1991 dodge 350 16 pass van

will the heads on this motor work with out having to do any custom type work i have a 01 dodge ram 2500 5.9L

why i ask is cause i want to have a extra side of heads to build.. have them ported and polished and put upgraded valves,springs, and 1.7 HS RR in them..

so that way i can still drive my ram and till the heads are all ready

any imput would be nice... or links to bare heads for cheap or etc

No, the 91 heads won't work. Those are the older style. Oiling system for valve train is different, as well as intake bolt holes being at a different angle.
