for the first five minutes of running both blinkers work fine. after the five minutes the right blinker wont work the front will come on solid but the rear will not come on as well as the break light. kinda confusing this occurred after i regrounded my stereo so i moved the ground and just took it out completely and still have the issue. thanks for your help in advance.

Damn you ask a lot of questions, LOL The headlight switch and the mutlifuction switch are both wired in conjunction with each other. You should also remove the covers off the steering column and look for damaged wires if you have a tilt wheel. Also look for damage on the back of the multifunction switch plug.

I had an issue with the headlights a few weeks ago. Pull the column covers off and have a look at the plug directly behind the multifunction arm. Check all wires carefully to make sure they are all in tight and that none of them are lose in there causeing it to heat up/ or short out. Common problem on the tilt wheel for wires to get pulled out of that switch or get pinched in there.

zman i ask alot of question because i want all the facts before i go into anything and end up making it more work for myself later on.
i just pulled off the column cover and i dont see any loose wires pinched wires or melted wires. would a faulty flasher only allow one side to work, and like i said up top the right rear blinker doesnt even come on, neither does the break light.
