What size socket for front axle nut?

Axle nut came off easy with my cordless impact. I can't say the same for the 14mm bolts holding the hub on. Snapped a 1/2" to 3/8th bull **** adapter and a 3/8" in breaker bar. A nice man came up to me and asked if I needed help. He's checking on a 1/2" to 3/8" snap on adapter for me. I left my snap on one at the shop
