Cracked Dash Replacement (Busted more than Cracked)
Mine was perfect when I bought the truck a year and a half ago. Then about this time last year I went off-roading in the desert, nothing hard core, and there were three cracks in the dash when I got back to the pavement. I said damdamdamdamdamdam.
It's odd. I bought it with a trashed tranny, busted dash, and bent up lower panels on bed. Last favor I ever do for THAT brother in law......
Between keeping him from having a repo on his record, an extra truck I can't park in the garage (7 vehicles), he OWES me forever! But a good price. He even wants to help me work on it now.....I'm thinking he will be doing a LOT of sanding when I repaint this and the Jag!
Worked on dash again this afternoon. This looks a whole lot better now! No more beige towel laying on the dash to hide the mess!
This hole was not aligned so I had to drill one closer to front edge to get screw into clip.

Dash put into place:

Airbag and painted glove box installed:

Now for the carpet and seats!

Thanks. Something between a toy and something to haul car trailer. As soon as I get everything done except body work, I'll move Jag into garage to work on it - electrical, steering rebuild, and suspension work. Paint both in the spring. Back yard and rear carport getting congested.
