Does engine get warm enough? What does gauge read after it has run for a while?
If stat is stuck open, the engine may not be heating up enough. If it is stuck closed, you would be overheating.

Have you recently changed coolant? If so, there could be air trapped in system. You need to have nose of truck raised and running and heater turned on, and make sure it is full so air bubble will flow out.

Check behind heater/ac controls to make sure everything is connected. If bypass door does not operate correctly, it cannot divert air through heater core.

Is the carpet on pass side getting wet or do you smell coolant from insde the cab? If so, this is a sign that core is bad.

So stat appears to be working, and heater core is not leaking, and it is probably not air trapped in system.

Hopefully you can find a connection loose. Also remove glove box and look at heater door behind there. Check for connections there also.

Do you have the service manual? If not, you can download from the FAQ/DIY section. Troubleshooting detailed pretty well in there for connections both vacuum and electrical.
