Default Lots of Electrical Questions.. Connected or Random?

Alright everyone, this one has bee puzzling me for a while and I cannot figure this out.

All of this below occurred after I installed my Kool-Vue towing mirrors, and my big question is that why this all is happening??

First, the power mirror controls quit working...(all except the passenger mirror moving up??) and when I try to move them any other direction, my dome light flickers?

Second, they are also supposed to be heated, but when i press the heat button... it blows the blower motor fuse and not only are the mirrors not heated, I have no heater.

Third, (I know its not safe and un-recommended) but I have to run my IOD fuse at 5amps higher than stock or when I tap the mirror control, it blows that fuse and everything in the cab dies.

Is there any way to fix this? Is it all connected to the mirrors? None of this happened with my old stock ones?

Are the heating elements on the Kool Vue mirrors comparable to original mirrors? Other than that, maybe the connectors are not pinned out the same.

To be honest, I never looked. Everything worked perfectly when I first got them (head and power controls) or I would have sent them back, that's why I'm so confused.

Maybe one of the connectors has started to come apart and is only making partial connection, and with a weak connection, increases current and blows fuse....don't know, just a thought.

I checked a while back, and everything seemed to connect fine, but I'll have to double check this week.

No worries, discountautomirrors.com. I got mine when they were just over $70 a piece, now it looks like they're up to near $100. Come with the brackets though, so that's a plus.
