Problems after Kegger Mod and Plenum Repair
So i got the truck running again and on the way home the oil press dropped all the way down to zero so i shut it down checked under the hood....no leaks no loose connections. Started it back up and drove it all the way home with no further issues. CEL is still on so once i get a scanner i should be able to narrow it down but im going to refrain from driving it until i figure out what is causing the CEL and if it correlates with the random loss of oil press. But if anyone has experienced this problem and has some input on what the problem might be im wide open for suggestions!
The switch was 99 or 2000. My 98 was on passenger side and my 2000 is on driver side.
Your oil pressure problem is a clogged pick up in the oil pan. It was probably partly clogged and whatever debris the got in the from removing and replacing the intake finished the job. It will have oil pressure until it sucks up enough crap to clog it and shutting it off lets some fall off. The pan is easy to pull I would suggest doing this asap! The bearings won't last long like that. I have done a few at the shop with this problem....including my 95!
I went to drive one day and got about 1 block away and the gauge went to 0 oil light came on, I turned around (pressure came back) went to my garage pulled the pan and my tube was 95 percent packed with hard debris! I replaced my tube with a new one. I even dropped the pan again after a year just to be sure that I wouldn't have the prob again..it was clean, I bought it used so I don't know how it was maintained before I bought it.

Not sure if you've checked it yet but when mine did this I was just low on oil, seeing as how my intake likes to inhale it lol. Check yours if you haven't mine was 2qts low and making no noises just the oil pressure dropping off and on.
Make sure that the PCV valve TUBE goes from the passenger, over the intake to the driver side PCV valve. Then have the other air tube (breather) go to the intake.
If you have both tubes going to the intake and to the crankcase, you will not be ventilating anything but recycling it.
Also, make sure to not CLOSE OFF your PCV tubes. i know someone that blumbed up his PCV side then he had oil shooting out his dipstick. Took him a while to figure out where the oil leak was coming from.

After seeing your before pic of your belly pan on the end all be all thread, I can DEFINITELY see your oil pump screen clogging as a great possibility.
