there are just a ton of dodge trucks for sale right now. I'm going to keep watching his posting on CL and see how long it goes. He said he replaced a lot of the front end components himself, and the steering is hard then easy, and I had to keep the wheel turned for it to go straight down the road. It didn't have a lot of power, and the interior was patched together with duck tape. the truck was a good truck from 10ft away, but when I got closer to it, it wasn't worth it. I don't have to have a truck now, and the price will come down on these trucks when people get tax refunds and want something different.

I really appreciate all the info and insight given on this thread. I rebuilt steering gears (for semi's) and didn't know the pick up ones were so cheap!

Interior on mine is not bad, but seat fabric is worn pretty bad on driver seat. Dealer wants about $700! Looking at new carpet and something else for seats. Dash was busted until this week, so interior work can run a pretty penny.

You'll find a good one if you keep looking! Good luck!

For seven hundred bucks, you could probably have an upholstery shop do ALL the seats....

Found leather including door panels that match interior - just want to be able to see their quality first. Hoping they send sample with stitching. I will have to install myself, but that is not too big a job...I hope....
