Default Help with Fuel sync

1999 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9

Engine runs well, seems a bit rich, just rebuilt it. Wanted to buy the correct tool to set the fuel sync myself.

What tool do I need to get this done?

I have a Snap On MTG 2500. You can find one on ebay pretty reasonable sometime. WIll need the correct Personality Key (13a I think) and Primary Cartridge for your truck.

That's true, there are several for under a 100 bucks..... there are a couple that have some issues for under 10. Buy a couple of those, put together one working one, and have some spare parts.

Not that I know of. I believe they just read codes, but you may check with them and see.
