Just so you know...
If you have to adapt, and the torque wrench is kept at 90 degrees to adapter, doesn't matter how long adapter is, same torque. (Hand to pivot dimension stays same.)

On my '99 2500 it was an allen style on the rear adjustment. I don't recall the size on either though.

Also maybe don't back torx out too far also.... some call that the point of entry. By which they mean the point by which a bullet entry into they're head bc that simple adjustment is now actually a fix and more then likely the exact thing you were trying to put off if u couldve but alas loose band= _ODGE..... missing: a little "D". If Seen Please Call NFPA (Not Following Procedures Anonymous) with location & brief description of the "D" in question.
