Water leaking somewhere in rear passenger side?
I have a leak somewhere around the top rear window on the passenger side. I say this, because it seems to be the highest area that is wet.
However, I can't seem to pinpoint the leak, because the whole area is wet. The top of the rear seat is wet (extended cab) and the floor is wet. There ere also water drops on the interior panel next to rear passenger side speaker. I felt around the top of the rear window and it felt wet. The bottom also felt wet. The top near the slider also felt wet.
I'm not really sure where its coming in at, but wanted to ask if there was a common spot where these things leak? Is there any way to reseal it without pulling the rear glass? Does that flowable silicone stuff work? I really rather not risk busting the rear glass trying to take it out to replace a seal.
I'm sorry if this is overly vague.

is that rust? i was looking at that seal on mine - it didnt look all rusted out or anything. How does one go about sealing that area? Also - that black strip... what is it and does it come off / how do i re-seal it?
dug into the problem further. it isnt leaking from the 3rd brake light, or at least it does not seem to be. there is water dripping from the top of the rear window slider at the far edge of the slide track. i also peeked behind the head liner and there was a bead of water leaking from the top passenger corner of the rear window.
i bought some permatex flowable sealant and will try to seal it this weekend. any suggestions are welcome. I'm also going to seal my 3rd bake light just to be safe.

well, I resealed everything including the 3rd brake light. hopefully, it fixes all my problems.
used the permatex flowable silicone on the window seal (also did above my front windshield too just as a preventative measure), used clear rtv on the 3rd brake light.

For a while my slider leaked as well. Mine however was leaking out of the channel the window slides in like the drain holes were stopped up. It somehow worked itself out i think, well i pray it did anyway.
