Default wheel cylinder

i have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 and this is the second time my wheel cylinder has blown in the past month. my cousin says its because of the axle being bent but i think its because he only bleed the side that we replaced. it is the same wheel cylinder that has blown before this month so can some one help me.

Are you adjusting the brake shoes properly?

im pretty sure he did. im going to be doing both my wheel cylinders on my rear today, how tight should they be? this is the 1st time ive done them but i watched my cousin do them so i have the consecpt down.
