Default Truck "died" and wouldnt start until I gassed it while turning over?

Could this just be water in the gas or some bad gas... or maybe something in the gas, or does this suggest it may be fuel pump/filter replacement time?

Truck has 130k on it. I tried turning it over multiple times with no luck. I checked fluid, looked around for problems, full gas tank... gave it some gas while turning it over and it started up. Didn't "stall" again on me for the rest of the day, but I rely on this truck for reliable transportation, and was just wondering if this suggests it'll be time to schedule a fuel pump replacement or if this sounds like it could be a sign of something else?

A more likely cause would be a sticking IAC.

For all the cars I've ever owned, and do currently own, this forum has the most knowledgable members by far. I was going to look into buying a 2WD truck (still keep the ram for winter/hauling)... I was looking at the late '07 F150s (I know I'm a traitor), but maybe I just need another ram!
