Default Coolant leak below overflow res?

So I have noticed I have a coolant leak. Each time I fill up the overflow res a couple days later, no more coolant in the reservoir. I've been looking to see if I could locate the leak, and I have found found lots of fluid and gunky stuff located on the hoses below the overflow res. Picture below. Is this normal and should I be looking elsewhere for my leak? I haven't been having any cooling problems, only a slight gurgling sound from my passenger side dash (no wet interior or condensation on windshield) which I am attributing to this coolant leak. Any ideas? Take it to shop?

If that is the only leak there is, it's probably the reservoir itself. Pop it off and inspect it.

Get rid of the check valve in your trans cooler line too.
